The Rise of Champions (featuring Rocket League) is a FREE 8-week grassroots, online-only esports program with REAL competition and REAL prizes. Each competition is separated geographically as players compete for various levels of prizing within their region. Challenge yourself against your soccer buddies, your family, or friends, neighbors and competitors from across the country. You can have fun playing in a safe, fully-moderated environment, in a structured esports program. Plus it’s totally FREE!
Schedule
Preliminary games start October 25th and the competition will end mid-December for the Championship Finals. We know family schedules are complex, so we’ve set up dynamic scheduling that allows players to set up the match dates that work best for them!
Format
Teams of three players compete for victory! ALL gaming platforms where Rocket League can be played will be supported. Players are divided based on geographical region, and then have a chance to advance to a Regional and National Championship. Teams have one week to complete their match and record their results. Rescheduling options are available if the default time is unavailable. We know family schedules are complex, so we’ve set up dynamic scheduling that allows players to set up the match dates that work best for them! Cost
This event is FREE for all participants! There are NO esport operator platform fees or additional costs, other than the standard equipment and internet connection needed to play online.
Estimated Time of Commitment
The average time of weekly time commitment for matches is about 15 to 25 minutes.
Prizes
The top four teams in each region and at the National Championships are awarded great prizes including cash, gift cards and/or products from our sponsor HyperX.
